Paris Hilton

The 29-year-old hotel heiress has posed as a mermaid and channelled her pet Tinkerbell for her past fragrances but this time went for a classic touch for her latest scent, People reported online.

"I got to dress up like my idol Marilyn Monroe, and we ended up with some great photos. She's always been such an inspiration to me," Hilton said of the shoot, which featured her in a sexily dishevelled platinum mop-top a la Monroe.

The scent, a fruity-floral blend of Fuji apple, white peach nectar and bergamot, is balanced with white flowers and has base notes of amber, blonde woods and warm sand--designed to capture the come-hither spirit of Monroe. "Tease is a really sweet and flirty scent, so the name is very fitting. It's playful and sexy-perfect for grabbing attention," Hilton said.

'Tease by Paris Hilton' is all set to hit stores this summer, with a 3.4 oz eau de parfum spray priced at USD 55.

Prepared to be linked with Anu Malik

Prepared to be linked with Anu Malik

Open Talk :

How does it feel when people begin to draw inspiration from you? Is it scary to be in such a position?
It feels great when people acknowledge my efforts and appreciate me for my hard work. But I don’t get scared of the responsibilities that come along with the trust that people have in my abilities. Instead, I take it as a challenge. It helps me give my best and live up to other people’s expectations. As the judge of Sony’s Indian Idol 5, my efforts would be to get the most deserving candidate win the title.

You are a thorough professional, that’s what the people you’ve worked with have to say about you. Does it come naturally?
I have worked hard to become a professional. I’m quite a funny person, let’s say different at home. But I’m also aware of the fact that such an attitude doesn’t work in the professional realm. I like being professional when it comes to work because it helps me perform better. It helps me concentrate more. I’m a kind of person who treats my personal and work life separately. That’s what keeps me going.

And you are addicted to your work?
You can call it an addiction. I’m totally passionate about my work. For, playback singing is what I simply love. I’m fortunate that God has given me the talent and all I have to do is sing.

At home, Sundhi is...
Like any other girl. I watch movies, meet my friends, plan outings with my family, make fun of other people and love to gossip. I want to learn cooking. Just that I don’t get to spend much time with my mom. But I know once I learn those culinary skills I will be a great cook. I’m also dying to start reading a book. The sad part is I don’t read at all. But I have heard so much positive about reading that I can’t wait any longer. I was in London a few months ago and I bought a lot of books. My first pick was Michael Jackson’s autobiography. He is my God. I read the first two chapters and had tears in my eyes.

Any memory of your stay in Delhi?
My school was in new Rajinder Nagar and we used to stay in Azad Market, we had a huge house – three bedrooms, a hall and a huge verandah. Yes, it was beautiful. I so enjoyed those scooter rides with my father.

Do you think you are a destiny’s child?
Destiny plays a decent role but ultimately, it all boils down to the talent one has. You might get an opportunity in life – just as I got – because of your destiny. But to say that everything depends only on destiny is a mistaken belief. A lot depends on one’s approach and the hard work one is willing to put in. But I firmly believe it is your talent that takes you ahead in life.

Do you ever feel you are underpaid?
Oh yeah, we are underpaid all the time. It is unfortunate that in India it is all about cricket and the film industry. There is nothing like music industry here. I mean, it exists but on a very small level and we all know about it. But it is getting better now. Stars have begun to respect singers. We are seen in the same league as the big stars. This wasn’t the case earlier because the producers and directors’ perception about the singers was, ‘Haan ek singer hai unse gawan lo.’

How did you react when Aamir Khan said lyricist don’t have a major role to play in making the song successful?
I respect Aamir Khan for he is one of the best talents we have ever had in India. Unka yeh point of view ho sakta hai. I’m not challenging that. However, as a singer mujhe yeh baat thodi samajh nahi aai. We have had songs which despite being picturised on not so popular actors have been a hit with the masses. Doosri baat yeh hai ki pehle gaana banta hai. Yeh baat alag hai ki log ab pehle gaana hi dekhte hain kyunki publicity hi aise hoti hai. But people hum the tune. It is all about team work. As a singer I can’t say it is just the composer’s song. I can’t work without composer who further can’t work without the lyricist. We all, including the actors, have to work hard to make songs successful. I don’t know Aamir personally. He is free to have his point of view. From what I have heard, it is maybe not so right.

Is there anything you regret in life?
I would be lying if I say I’m happy all the time. That’s fake. I agree there have been times when I felt, ‘Why the hell did this happen?’ But that doesn’t mean I regret anything that happened. I’m glad that a particular incident happened because it helped me emerge as a stronger person and allowed me to see things differently. I have got to know a lot about people I thought were close and not so close to me. It is that clarity of thought I treasure. I believe everything happens for good. Now I know only good things will happen.

Actors are used to linkups. Do you think it is somewhat safe for the singers?
Yes. But I have had my share of link ups. All those stories only make me laugh. I have enjoyed reading them and I’m absolutely ok now. Let people have their share of fun. It was quite funny and shocking to hear that I was linked up with Anu Malik once. I wanted to meet the person who thought of it.

What if you are linked with Anu again?
I’m all prepared for that.

Hrithik Roshan

Biography :

Roshan's first movie role was as a child artist when he was six years old in the 80s movie Aasha, where he appeared in a dance sequence as an extra. Roshan went on to play minor roles in Aap Ke Deewane (1980) and Bhagwan Dada (1986) both of which starred his father Rakesh Roshan in the leading role. He then became an assistant director assisting in the production of his father's films Karan Arjun (1995) and Koyla (1997).

Breakthrough, 2000–2002:

In 2000, Roshan made his film debut as the leading man in the film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai opposite another debutante actress Amisha Patel. The film, which was directed by his father and saw him playing a double role, proved to be very successful at the box office, becoming the highest grossing film of 2000 and winner of the Filmfare Best Movie Award. Roshan's performance was well-received, and the film made him an overnight star. He eventually received both the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award and the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the role. The film entered the Limca Book of Records in 2003 for the most number of awards won by a Bollywood film - 102 awards.

Later that year, Roshan starred in Khalid Mohammed's Fiza. Although the film did poorly at the box office, his performance was praised, earning him another nomination for Best Actor at the Filmfare ceremony. Taran Adarsh from indiaFM noted, "The mainstay of the film is undoubtedly Hrithik Roshan. His body language, his diction, his expressions, his overall persona deserves great praise. With this film, Hrithik proves that there is more to him than just being a fashionable rage, a Mills & Boon lover-boy and a sex symbol. His talent comes to the fore in several scenes, especially those with Karisma. All said and done, the show belongs to Hrithik, who saves Fiza to a major extent. A brilliant performance undoubtedly!"

Roshan's last release of the year, Mission Kashmir, became the third highest grossing film of the year. His performance was once again acclaimed with one critic praising him, "Hrithik once again cuts a splendid performance as a youngster sucked in the vortex of terrorism. He is portrayed as anti-government in the early part of the film-- a bold role to play for even a seasoned actor, leave alone a budding superstar." All these achievements promoted him as one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Subhash Ghai's Yaadein was his first release in 2001. This was followed by Karan Johar's melodramatic Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which did extremely well at the box office, becoming the second-highest grossing film of 2001 and the biggest hit overseas. Roshan's performance was well received and his performance earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at various award ceremonies.

Roshan had an unsuccessful year in 2002 when all three of his releases - Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage - failed to make an impact the box office and were declared flops.

Success, 2003–present:

In 2003, he made a comeback with the science-fiction film Koi... Mil Gaya, which saw him playing a mentally disabled young man. The film was the highest grosser of the year and won him many awards, including his second Filmfare Best Actor Award and his first Filmfare Best Actor (Critics) Award. Taran Adarsh noted, "Hrithik Roshan dominates the show and packs in a power-packed performance. The role of a mentally challenged person is no cakewalk, but the actor takes to it like a fish takes to water. He manages to pull off the zero to hero routine exceptionally well. As an actor, he scales dizzier heights with this splendid performance."

Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya was Roshan's only release in 2004; the film did not do well at the box office. However, his performance was praised by critics.

Roshan took a two-year break from acting before resurfacing with the superhero film Krrish, a sequel to his 2003 film Koi... Mil Gaya which released in June 2006. The film was a major box office success and became the second highest grosser of 2006. His performance as a superhero was praised, earning him many Best Actor awards at various award ceremonies, including Star Screen and the International Indian Film Academy. IndiaFM wrote, "To state that Hrithik is the soul of Krrish would be an understatement. If the actor walked away with all noteworthy awards in Koi... Mil Gaya, it's going to be an encore with Krrish. You cannot imagine any other actor enacting the role of a gifted child with aplomb. If his mask and robe look is splendid, watch his make up, gait and mannerisms as the aged father and you had agree, he's one of the finest talents on the Indian screen today. Krrish is yet another ground-breaking film in his dazzling repertoire!"

His next film that year was Dhoom 2, a sequel to the 2004 Dhoom. Featured opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Roshan's performance in the movie not only earned him widespread critical acclaim, but also his third Filmfare Best Actor Award. The film went on to become the highest grossing film of 2006, as well as one of the most successful films of Bollywood.

In 2008, Roshan featured in Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He played the historical role of Akbar the Great. The movie did very good business, both in India and abroad. His performance in the movie was widely appreciated by critics, earning him his fourth Filmfare Best Actor Award as well as his first international award for Best Actor at the Golden Minbar International Film Festival in Kazan, Russia.

Roshan recently appeared in Zoya Akhtar's Luck by Chance (2009), in which he made a special appearance. He completed filming for Anurag Basu's Kites in 2009, along with Mexican actress Bárbara Mori and Kangna Ranaut; the film is scheduled to be released on May 21, 2010. He is currently finishing up work on director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Guzaarish opposite Aishwarya Rai. Roshan is scheduled to appear in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Milegi Na Dobaara opposite Katrina Kaif  as well as Shekhar Kapur's next directorial venture titled Paani.

Patriots trade down to take CB Devin McCourty

Patriots trade down to take CB Devin McCourty :

FOXBORO - Perhaps the Patriots  were sick of Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis tormenting them during 2009. Last night, they may have drafted their own version.
With the 27th selection of the NFL draft, coach Bill Belichick selected Rutgers cornerback Devin McCourty, a physical player who could go a long way in easing their woes against pass-happy teams last season.
After trading down twice from their original selection at No. 22 while picking up a third-round pick, Belichick settled on McCourty, a player who didn’t expect to be selected that quickly. He is a special teams star, as well.
The 5-foot-11, 193-pounder is roughly the same size as Revis. Both toiled away from publicity in the Big East, with Revis at Pittsburgh and McCourty at Rutgers.
“When you turn on the TV in this area, Revis is always on,” McCourty said last night. “He was one of the top cornerbacks in our conference, and when you have a guy that good in your conference, you just watch him on film. And obviously, he’s on a lot now and especially in the playoffs. I looked at him for what I can add to my game.”
Added Belichick: “That’s a positive trait, a player who works on his game.”
McCourty made 80 tackles - 7 for a loss - with just one interception in 2009. He also blocked seven kicks on special teams.
“Coach (Greg) Schiano always said you can be even on offense and defense, but special teams can be the tiebreaker,” McCourty said. “I take that very seriously.”
As for Belichick, he said McCourty was “the player with the best value for us.” He would’ve taken McCourty at 22 if he’d stayed there.
“I think the end of the first round worked out about as well as we could’ve hoped,” Belichick said. “He’s a very tough, good four-down football player. It’s hard for me to picture a player who can do more that.”
In many ways, the pick was surprising. McCourty said he was in the bathroom when the phone rang, leading his twin brother Jason (a Tennessee Titan) to bang on the door and say, “Answer the phone!”
The Pats have cornerback Leigh Bodden, Darius Butler and Shawn Springs on the roster. And defensive end Jared Odrick and outside linebacker Sergio Kindle were available. Instead, Belichick sought pass-coverage help, especially with the rest of the AFC East loading up on offensive weapons.
Butler appeared excited, saying in a tweet, “That’s a good pick! Can’t have enough CBs, especially Big East ones.” Instantly, ESPN analyst Jon Gruden lauded the selection: “McCourty will give them a lot of versatility.”
Trading out of the 22nd pick (Denver) and then the 24th pick (Dallas), the Pats landed at 27 with so many defensive targets still available. They also acquired the 90th overall pick, a third-rounder they had lost in the Derrick Burgess trade.
Not sure if he was going to be picked last night, McCourty erred on the side of caution.
“It was really up in the air,” McCourty said. “I didn’t want to have my hopes too high, but it was an incredible feeling. My mom and I cried a little bit. We’re just so happy now.”
McCourty hadn’t gotten a strong feeling if the Pats would select him. But he did have a one-on-one meeting with Belichick when the coach spoke at a clinic at Rutgers. The two went over some film, and Belichick handed out some pointers.

When they spoke last night, Belichick said, “Are you ready to become a Patriot?” McCourty responded, “Coach, I’m ready.”

Stallone taps he-men pals Willis and Ah-nuld for 'The Expendables'

If you’re a certain kind of red-meat action movie fan — you know you who are — then you’re already counting down the days to Sylvester Stallone’s orgy of macho mayhem, The Expendables, on August 13th. Sure, we understand that the former Italian Stallion’s output these days has been decidedly hit or miss. But The Expendables is destined to be a classic. Why?  Because it features the once-in-a-lifetime summit of the Big Three action czars of the ’80s: Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“It took probably eight months to pull it off because of everyone’s schedules,” says Stallone, who also directed and co-wrote the $55 million throwback to man-on-a-mission classics like The Dirty Dozen. “With Arnold especially, we’d plan a date and then there’d be a fire or a budget crisis and he’d have to go back to Sacramento.”

Stallone says the big scene between the three icons serves as little more than a cameo for his A-list pals. But, he adds, “it really sets the hook for the movie.” Willis plays a shady mogul who hires Stallone’s band of mercenaries — which includes Jason Statham, Jet Li, mixed-martial-arts champ Randy Couture, and former NFL player Terry Crews — to overthrow a Latin American dictator. In a twist that smacks of Reagan-era box-office showdowns, Schwarzenegger plays Sly’s longtime rival, a fellow soldier of fortune. “Arnold and I talked about how it takes a while to start up the engines these days,” laughs the 63-year-old Stallone.

“It’s the three of us going nose-to-nose,” Stallone continues. “Bruce and Arnold just got it. It’s so funny because you get there and it’s like, We’ve all seen each other socially, but this is different. It’s like meeting a fellow athlete in the ring. Oh, okay, everyone knows how to work the camera and what angles work for them. It was just fantastic. They’re such pros. Because it’s probably never going to happen again.”

For Stallone’s younger costar, Statham, who grew up weaned on the films of these three stars, the prospect of watching these three in the same scene is like catnip. “I’ve actually seen the scene with the three of them and it’s the best scene in the film,” he says. “I was almost in tears with how funny it is. It’s worth every dollar.”

Stallone says also approached his onetime marquee mates Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme to join the cast, too. But it wasn’t to be. “Seagal had complications because he was busy with his TV show. But Van Damme just had complications about the…a lot of this has been blown out of proportion. Supposedly, he said ‘What is the character’s motivation?’ And I supposedly said, ‘Well, we’re making lots of money!’ Which I never said. I’ve never said that in my entire life! I said, ‘It’s about you and Jet Li. He defeats you.’ And he says, ‘That’s impossible!’ And I go, ‘It’s a movie.’ And he goes, ‘But it could never happen!’ And he said, ‘Why don’t you think of doing some other kind of movie? Maybe something that has to do with inner-city politics? And I go, ‘Well, that’s a little removed from where I’m at. So you hang in there and keep punching.’ A lot has been made out of it. He’s going in a whole different direction with his career and he just didn’t want to go there. I wish he had. There’s always a sequel, so who knows?”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has a crush on Robert Pattinson

Newly-single actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is eyeing to romance Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson.

The 'Heartbreakers' star recently ended a year-long relationship with comedy actor Jamie Kennedy, and insists she's ready to find love again, AceShowbiz reported online.

"His features are so striking. I love that he has such a soft voice," Hewitt said.

However, to win over the British actor would be a tough game for Hewitt as he has constantly been linked to his 'Twilight' co-star Kristen Stewart.

This is not the first time the 31-year-old actress has expressed her love for Pattinson.

"There is not a girl in the world who's not Team Edward! Have you met girls who are not Team Edward? Well, they are not girls! They're aliens from another planet who should not be allowed to exist,"Hewitt had said in an earlier interview.

Gerard Is Not In 'Saat Khoon Maaf', Says Priyanka

Gerard Is Not In 'Saat Khoon Maaf', Says Priyanka :

Scottish actor Gerard Butler is not playing one of Priyanka Chopra's seven husbands in Vishal Bharadwaj's upcoming flick "Saat Khoon Maaf".

The National Award winning actress clarified this through her Twitter page.

The actress posted, "Guys just to clarify things... Gerard Butler is not in 'Saat Khoon Maaf'. I don't know where these fictional stories come out as news."

Recently, a Mumbai newspaper had published that Miss Chopra had used her personal relationship with Gerard to sign him in for "Saat Khoon Maaf".

And she is quite miffed.

While Bollywood isn't exactly known for sex in its films, but it has been an important part of the storyline of many a Bollywood flick and this isn't just in the B-grade stuff. There have been a number of mainstream Bollywood films in which sex played a privotal role in the narrative as our list shows.

Actress Udita Goswami is all set to woo her co-actor Anuuj Saxena in Jag Mohan Mundhra's Chase.

Here are more than a handful of Bollywood films that had a sex flavour about them.

Arya Donning a Villian Role in Tollywood

Arya, after his performance in Naan Kadavul, has bagged several projects and has established himself quite well in Kollywood. The actor has now signed up an interesting offer in Tollywood. Reportedly, Arya will be playing a villain in a Telugu film that will directed by Gunasekar. Sources close to him state that Arya took up the villain role because it has equal footage to that of the hero’s character. Incidentally, Telugu star Allu Arjun plays the lead role. The director said that shooting of this film will commence today and will be
completed in a couple of months. Arya definitely seems to be on a experimental spree.

Ashwariya Rai’s commitment to Robot came in for some heavy discussion yesterday. Nearly all sections of the media had recently carried reports of Ash being offered the female lead role in Robot for an astounding sum, making her the top paid actress in the entire country. But only yesterday reports were floating around of Ash pulling out of the

Aishwarya Rai
movie, citing her pregnancy as a reason. Robot, a 24 month project, was too long a time for her to be away from home, seemed to be the implication.

Dispelling these reports strongly, Ash today said that she is committed to Robot; that she admires Shankar for always being a step ahead of any other filmmaker when it came to making cutting edge techno savvy movies. Excited about working with Rajinikanth, she had nothing but praise for him. Rajini is an institution personified, she added, and she would never miss out on an opportunity to work with him.
