Surya up coming flim

After a vigorous hunt for actresses, A. R. Murugadoss has finally zeroed on Kamal Haasan’s elder daughter Shruti Haasan for his upcoming film. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies  and has Surya playing the lead role.

Though according to grapevine, earlier Murugadoss was keen on roping Asin as the female lead but finally took the decision to cast Shruti with Surya. Since, producers are planning to make the film simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil; they would rather prefer Shruti who is popular in Bollywood.

Shruti Haasan made her debut in Hindi film industry with ‘Luck’ and shared screen space with Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan. A.R. Murugadoss has already raked in critical appreciation as well as box-office moolah with ‘Ghajini’ and Surya is making headlines in tabloids after Ram Gopal Varma signed him for crime-thriller ‘Rakta Charitra’.

Ratha Charithra. Impressed with the story line of Radha Charithra, the actor accepted the offer immediately.

"The film will be in two parts and I will be introduced in the climax scenes of the first part and the second part will be based on my character," said Surya in his recent interview. The film starring Vivek Oberoi will revolve around the life of a notorious murderer.

RGV had reportedly said that the film would start soon after Surya returns from his Aadhavan schedule.

விஜய் நடித்த வேட்டைக்காரன் படத்தை பெரிய எதிர்பார்ப்போடு வாங்கியது சன் பிக்சர்ஸ். வாங்கிய படத்தை குறிப்பிட்ட தேதியில் ரிலீஸ் செய்யாமல் இழுத்தடித்துக்கொண்டே போனது சன்.

பரத் நடித்த கண்டேன் காதலை படத்தை ரிலீஸ் செய்து அது வசூலில் நொண்டியடிக்க ஆரம்பித்ததும்தான் வேட்டைக்காரனை ரிலீஸ் செய்தது.
இந்த நீ.......ண்ட இடைவெளி படுத்திவிட்டது விஜய்யை. படம் ரிலீசானதும் ஏகமாய் எதிர்பார்த்த சன்னுக்கு ஏமாற்றம். இதனால் அடுத்த படத்தையும் சன்னுக்கே தருவதென உறுதியளித்துவிட்டார் விஜய்.

அதன்படி போட்ட ஒப்பந்தப்படி விஜய் நடித்த சுறாவை மே மாதம் ரிலீஸ் செய்ய திட்டமிட்டிருந்தது சன்.

ஆறு, வேல் கமர்ஷியல் ஹிட் படங்களுக்கு பிறகு ஹரி-சூர்யா இணைந்திருக்கும் சிங்கம் படத்திற்கு எதிர்பார்ப்பு இருப்பதால் அந்த படத்தையும் வாங்கிவிட்டது சன். ஏப்ரல்-14க்கு சிங்கம். மே மாதம் சுறா என்று வகுத்து வைத்திருந்தது திட்டம்.

இதற்கிடையே விஜய், தனது 50வது படம் சுறா’வை ஏப்ரல்-14ல் ரிலீஸ் செய்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும் என்று விருப்பியிருக்கிறார்.

விஜய் விருப்பத்தை கேட்டதும் முதலில் சன் தரப்பு யோசித்திருக்கிறது. பின்பு, ஜெயம் ரவி நடிக்கும் தில்லாலங்கடி படம் வேறு இருக்கிறது. அதை மே மாதத்திற்கு வைத்துக்கொள்வோம் என்று சமாதானம் கொண்ட சன், அதிரடி முடிவு எடுத்திருக்கிறது.
